Moyano is Golfer of the Week

Clara Moyano, a true freshman from Spain, earned her first Big Sky Golfer of the Week honor after tying for sixth at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown. The Showdown, hosted by UNLV, was shortened to two rounds because of weather. Moyano shot six-under-par over the par-72 Boulder Creek Golf Club Course. She opened with a five-under-par 67, and followed it up with a one-under 71 in the final round. Idaho finished the tournament in third place, behind Baylor and host UNLV. Boulder Creek Golf Club is the site of the 2017 Big Sky Women's Golf Championship.
