PREVIEW: Idaho dropped its first Division I game of the season on Wednesday night, falling to Northern Illinois 63-49. Idaho couldn't seem to find its shot throughout the game, shooting just 15 percent from beyond the arc and 41 percent from the charity stripe.
Â
Little Rock enters the game 2-0 after defeating two non-Division I programs. Little Rock had a tremendous season last year, advancing to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament.
Â
MATCHUP: Idaho is 1-1 all-time against Little Rock, but fell to the Trojans last season, 64-54.Â
Victor Sanders led the way that night, scoring 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting.Â
Perrion Callandret also finished in double-figures, scoring 15.
Â
BIG MAN INSIDE – Junior
Brayon Blake had a fantastic opening night in the Silver and Gold. Blake finished with a double-double at 13 points and 11 boards. Last season, the Vandals recorded just two double-doubles on the year, with
Nate Sherwood recording the second in early February at NAU.
Â
Blake followed that up with a near-double-double at NIU, finishing with 17 points and nine rebounds.
