HUNTSVILLE, Texas – Idaho (3-1) heads back out on the road to take on Sam Houston State (3-2) at 4:30 p.m. Pacific on Friday.

PREVIEW: Idaho comes in red hot after taking down a pair of 2016 NCAA Tournament participants, Little Rock and South Dakota State.  Last time out, Idaho defeated South Dakota State, 96-89, in overtime.  Victor Sanders had a great night, finishing with 29 points and four assists.
 
Sanders was recognized by the Big Sky Conference as the Player of the Week after averaging 21 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game last week.
 
Sam Houston State enters the matchup after a close loss at Georgia Tech on Tuesday night.  The Bearkats trailed big early but fought their way back before falling 81-73.
 
MATCHUP: Idaho and Sam Houston State have met twice, back in 1987-88.  The teams split, with the home team winning both contests.
 
BENCH PRODUCTION – The Idaho bench was tremendous on Monday night against South Dakota State, outscoring the Jackrabbits 47-15.  Pat Ingram contributed 23 in a career-high performance, hitting five 3's.  Four of the five guys off the bench finished at +10 or better, led by Ty Egbert at +19.
