MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is thrilled to announce the signing of sprinter Nik Chappee of Air Academy High School located at the U.S. Air Force Academy outside of Colorado Springs, Colo.

Chappee is a naÂtionally ranked sprinter, who specializes in the 200m and 400m. He has personal bests of 21.27 in the 200m and 47.88 in the 400m. Chappee has also run the 100m, where he has a personal best of 10.99.

Chappee placed second in the 400m and fourth in the 200m at the Colorado State Track & Field Championships in 2016. He placed 10th at the Minnesota State Track & Field Championships in the 400m as a sophomore when he attended Hastings High School.

Chappee is an impressive student and will study MeÂchanical Engineering while at Idaho.
