HOW HAS YOUR TIME AT IDAHO BEEN SO FAR?
"It has been good so far. All the girls are great. The team has been really supportive. They have been helping us [freshmen] through preseason condition, lifting, and since October when we started practice and working for the season. It has been really helpful."
WHAT HAS THE TRANSITION BEEN LIKE FOR YOU?
"All the girls are faster, stronger and bigger. The speed and quickness of the game is a major change. The little details really matter more at this level. Those small things are the difference between winning and losing."
HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED IN BASKETBALL?
"My dad got me involved in fifth grade. He found a youth program that I ended up playing with until my senior year. It was a youth program that transitioned into high school. I stayed with that all the way to my last year of high school. "
WHAT IS A PERSONAL GOAL FOR THIS SEASON?
"For me the biggest thing is being quicker on defense. At this level all the girls are faster. It is something we work on a lot. When I am in the game I want to be able to keep up with them. It has taken a little adjusting, but I think it is starting to show."
WHAT IS ONE THING PEOPLE MIGHT NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU?
"I do not really know. Some people know this but I want to be a doctor. I like to help people out. I do not like to see people hurting."
Idaho will take the court on Saturday in its first home game of the season. The Vandals will host Central Washington at 3 p.m. PT in Memorial Gym.
