MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is excited to announce the signing of Tristin Bowens of Capital High School in Boise, Idaho.
Bowens is an Idaho State Champion sprinter, having won the 100m at the Idaho State Track & Field Championships this last spring in a time of 12.18, her personal best. She also placed second at the state meet in the 200m running her personal best of 25.64.
She is also an accomplished jumper. Bowens placed sixth in the long jump at the Idaho State Championships, she has a personal best of 17 feet five inches in the long jump. She plans to compete in the triple jump during her senior year.
Bowens has also played volleyball while at Capital, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention honors as a senior. She plans to study microbiology and is an exceptional student.
