Vandals tied 23rd nationally for academic achievement

Team won Big Sky title

2015-16 Women's Golf Team
The   University of Idaho women's golf team continues to impress on the course and in the classroom. The Vandals not only won the Big Sky Conference title but they tied for 23rd nationally for the nation's highest grade-point average on the All-Scholar Team list compiled by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.
 
The Vandals collectively had a 3.68 for the 2015-16 season. Lindenwood University had the highest average at 3.901. Illinois State was second at 3.862.
 
"This year's team continues to impress," coach Lisa Johnson said. "They are highly driven and give 100 percent both on the course and in the classroom. To achieve at such a high level is a tremendous accomplishment and we are very proud."
