SEATTLE—Idaho volleyball takes its 3-0 record into Seattle for a trio of matches at the UW/SU split tournament this weekend. The Vandals will take on No. 5 Washington, Seattle U and Villanova. Idaho will play the Huskies and Redhawks on Friday, closing with the Wildcats on Saturday.

Postseason Streak: 2015 marked Idaho's 11th consecutive conference postseason tournament. The Vandals won Big Sky championships in their final four seasons in the Big Sky, 1992-95, before returning to the conference in 2014.
Youth Movement: Idaho boasts a young roster in 2016 with 12 underclassmen (seven freshmen, five sophomores).

About Washington: The Huskies won the 2015 Pac-12 title and advanced all the way to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, finishing 31-3 overall. Washington has started 2016 2-0 with wins over James Madison and American. The Huskies were down two sets to one at American before coming back to win in five, behind career-bests from Courtney Schwan (21 kills), Tia Scambray (19 kills), Crissy Jones (17 kills, 19 digs), and Bailey Tanner (48 assists). Idaho last played Washington in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in 2004.

About Seattle U: The Redhawks opened 2016 by going 2-1 at the Ultra Ankle Challenge. Seattle U got wins over Portland and Utah State, before a 3-0 loss to Oregon State. Seattle U was picked to finish third in the Western Athletic Conference. The Vandals swept Seattle U in Idaho's first home match of the season last year.

About Villanova: The Wildcats enter the weekend at 2-1 with wins over Florida Gulf Coast and Ohio. Their loss came in a 3-0 match against No. 22 Western Kentucky.
