The University of Idaho Vandals head to their final non-conference game Saturday when they travel to UNLV to play the Rebels in the third of three successive road games. It is the first of two three-game road stretches for the Vandals in 2016.

Idaho and UNLV last played in 2010 when the Vandals won 30-7 at the Kibbie. The six-game series first was played in 1975 and is tied 3-3. The game is on the Mountain West Network with kickoff at 6 p.m.

In last Saturday's loss at Washington State, linebacker
Tony Lashley, who missed 2015 with injury, had a career-high 11 tackles. Ten of those were solo stops – also a career best. He is second in the Sun Belt and ninth nationally in solo tackles with 6.7 per game. Defensive tackle

Austin Rehkow, who averaged 45.7 yards on six punts, remains the NCAA's all-time career leader with a four-year average of 47.0 yards per kick. His kicks have enabled Idaho to lead the Sun Belt in net punting average at 43.73, which is seventh nationally.

The Vandals remain one of the least penalized teams in the country and are the Sun Belt leaders with just five per outing. That ranks 21
st in FBS.
