Former Vandal signs with Jolly Jadranska Banka Sibenik

MOSCOW, Idaho – Former Vandal Mike Scott has found a new home for the 2016-17 season, this time in Croatia with Jolly Jadranska Banka Sibenik.

Scott played last season with BC Siauliai in Lithuania.  There, he averaged 10.3 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in league play.  He averaged 8.9 points, 2.9 boards, 4.4 assists and 1.1 steals per contests in eight games in the Baltic League, helping Siauliai win the Baltic League Championship.

Jolly Jadranska Banka Sibenik competes in the A1 League of Croatia, the top league in the nation.  Scott is currently the only American player on the roster.

Scott was incredible during his two years with the Vandals.  He stepped into the starting point guard role as a senior, dishing out 160 assists, the fifth most in a single season in program history.  He led the Big Sky conference in helpers and finished 28th in the nation with 5.3 per contest.

He also averaged 14.0 points per game as a senior and finished fifth in the NCAA in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.33.  For his efforts, Scott earned Second Team All-Big Sky Conference honors.
