PULLMAN, Wash. – The University of Idaho women's golf team is continuing its low-scoring ways of last spring and is just one stroke back of 36-hole leader Washington State University at the annual WSU Cougar Cup.

Johnson's mix of veterans and newcomers combined for a 583. Washington State is at 582 and Cal State Fullerton is at 585.
"I was extremely impressed with how we played," Johnson said. "Our ball-striking is solid and we've been working hard to improve our green-reading and the speed on the greens. It definitely paid off."
