The University of Idaho women's swim and dive team once again was recognized as a Scholar All-American Team. The Vandals posted a collective 3.39 last semester to earn the distinction.

"These young women are tremendous student-athletes," coach Mark Sowa said. "They have a strong desire to be great at everything they do. We are so proud of the value they put on their academic pursuits.

"Educating body and mind should be what NCAA athletics is about and we believe these young women embody that ideal. They are great Vandals."

The Vandals wrap up the regular season Saturday, Feb. 4, with Senior Day at the UI Swim Center. The meet, which is free, begins at 11 a.m.
