MOSCOW, Idaho- University of Idaho Director of Athletics Rob Spear will lead a roundtable discussion with Vandal greats from several eras Thursday, at the Third Street Gallery as part of the speaker series in conjunction with the gallery's current exhibit "Vandal Traditions."
 
The Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow's City Hall at 206 East Third Street. A reception will begin at 5 p.m., with Spear and the panel taking the floor from 6-7:30 p.m. Moscow Alehouse will cater the event with Vandal brats and no-host beer by the bottle.
 
The panel of speakers includes Brian Howard, Jake Manley, Dick Mooney, Rich Naccarato, Ryan Phillips, Brian Reader and Brad Rice. Discussion topics will focus on Vandal football through the years, how it has changed and how it has remained the same.
 
The Third Street Gallery is currently featuring an exhibit on Vandal Traditions, running Sept. 8 through Nov. 24. The Vandal football roundtable is the second of three events in the exhibit's speaker series. The third discussion will take place Nov. 16, featuring the UI Marching Band History.
 
The exhibit includes items from the University of Idaho Library Special Collections and Archives; the Margaret Ritchie School of Family and Consumer Sciences Leila Old Historic Clothing Collection; and Vandal Athletics.
