BIG SKY RELEASE
OGDEN, Utah – Idaho's lone senior,
Olivia Baggerly, has been recognized by the Big Sky as a First Team All-Conference selection, as announced by the league on Tuesday. Junior
Bridget Daley was also recognized, earning honorable mention accolades.
Baggerly finished second on the squad with five goals and 12 points this season. She saved her best work for the end of the season, scoring the game-winning goal at Idaho State and netting the first of the match against regular season champs Eastern Washington in the season finale. A constant threat on the offensive end, Baggerly led the team with 55 shots, including 20 on frame.
She leaves the program as one of Idaho's best ever. Her 18 career goals are the fifth most in program history, while her 17 assists are fourth most. Her 53 points are also fourth most in team history, and her 184 career shots are fifth best.
Daley made an immediate impact in her first season with the Vandals, leading the squad with six goals, four assists and 16 points. Daley scored a hat trick in Idaho's 3-2 win at Weber State, as the Vandals kept their season alive after going down 2-0 early. She also scored twice in Idaho's miraculous come-from-behind win over Memphis.
Idaho finished the Big Sky campaign 4-5-1 in a tie for fifth, but missed out on the conference tournament due to tiebreakers. The Vandals finished the year 8-9-2 overall.
