OGDEN, Utah- Idaho junior Enrique Marin was named Big Sky Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday. Marin paced the Vandals at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational, finishing the tournament at 4-under.

This is the second weekly conference award of the season for Marin, also the second of his career. He claimed the previous honor Sept. 27.

Marin finished in a tie for 32nd among a loaded field. He carded Idaho's lowest score in each of the three rounds, shooting 69, 71 and 72, respectively, to finish at 212. The total score and score to par match career bests for Marin.

The event was Idaho's final outing of the fall. Marin wrapped up the non-championship segment of the season as Idaho's low scorer in 12 of the team's 15 rounds, including 12 of the final 13.

The Vandals will return to the course Feb. 12 and 13, at the Pro Compression Invitational in San Diego.
