MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho hoops will be sticking around town for another tilt on Saturday night, against Sam Houston State at 7 p.m. in Memorial Gym.  The game will be a part of a great day of Idaho Athletics, with the Idaho football team taking on Coastal Carolina at 2 p.m. in the Kibbie Dome.  Fans are encouraged to hold onto their football ticket stubs for free entrance to the basketball game.

LAST TIME OUT: Idaho thrashed George Fox, 101-62.  Victor Sanders had a Sanders-type performance with 29 points on 6-of-7 shooting from deep.  Nate Sherwood also stepped up to the tune of a career-high 28 points on 10-of-12 shooting.  He also grabbed a career-best 13 rebounds, including six offensive.
 
SEEM THEM BEFORE: Idaho met Sam Houston State on the road last season, falling 69-62.  The Vandals took a lean, 57-55 lead with under six minutes to play, but the Bearkats went on a quick 8-0 run from there and iced the game at the line to steal the win.
 
SANDERS KEEPS MOVING: Senior guard Victor Sanders moved up the career rankings for Idaho on Monday night.  With his 29-point performance, Sanders moved into 9^th in program history with 1,258 career points.
 
YOUNG STARS MAKE DEBUTS – PART 2: Scott Blakney, Garrett Kingman and Geno West all scored their first career points against George Fox on Monday.  Blakney and West both got it done at the free throw line, while Kingman knocked down a 3-pointer from the corner.
