MATCHUP: Idaho hasn't faced Nevada since the 2011-12 season, when both were members of the WAC. Idaho and Nevada split the two meetings that year, with the road team winning each game.
Idaho enters the game with high expectations after being picked first in both the coaches' and media preseason polls. The Wolf Pack also has their sights set on a championship, after being picked first by the media in the Mountain West polls. Nevada won both the regular season and the Mountain West Tournament last year and is currently receiving votes in both the AP and USA Today Coaches polls.
VETERAN LEADERSHIP: Idaho has one of the most experienced rosters in the country, with six seniors and a redshirt junior. The Vandal senior class has scored 3,736 points combined, the second highest scoring senior class in the country behind Seton Hall.
OLD, BUT YOUNG: Idaho also boasts one of the youngest rosters in the country. The Vandals have six scholarshipped freshmen on the roster, the fifth most in the nation.
NOTES: Check the notes package, linked at the top of the article, for more notes and stats ahead of the game.
