George Signs with Hang Tuah Sumatra Selatan

MOSCOW, Idaho – Former Vandal Nahshon George has landed with a new professional squad, signing with Hang Tuah Sumatra Selatan in Indonesia.
 
George last played with Thai General Equipment in the Thailand Basketball League.  There, he earned All-Thailand TBSL Honorable Mention honors after finishing second in the league with 14.2 rebounds per contest.  George also averaged 19.2 points, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest over 21 games with TGE.
 
Prior to Thailand, George got his professional career started in Mexico with Zonkeys de Tijuana where he averaged better than 10 points per game in three games.
 
George played two seasons with the Vandals, from 2014-16.  His best year came during his senior campaign when he averaged 4.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per contest while helping Idaho to its best record in more than two decades.
