LAST TIME OUT: Idaho took down Simon Fraser, 73-54.  The Vandals trailed at the break after a strong final few minutes from the Clan, but responded in the opening minutes of the second half to reclaim the lead and cruise to victory.  Nate Sherwood led the way with 17 points, while Brayon Blake added 16 points and 10 boards for his third double-double of the season.

NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS: Idaho currently sits at 7-3 on the season with two games remaining in non-conference play.  In Don Verlin's now 10 seasons with Idaho, the seven early-season wins are his second most.  The Vandals had eight early-season wins during the 2015-16 season, Idaho's best season (by wins and losses) since the early 1990's.

BOISE COMING UP: Idaho will take on UC Irvine in Boise on December 21 at 7:30 p.m. MST.  The women will be facing Eastern Oregon first, beginning at 5 p.m. MST.

BUCK NIGHT COMING UP: Idaho won't be back in Moscow until January 4, when Sacramento State comes to town for the Big Sky home opener.  The Vandals want a packed house that Thursday night to celebrate the start of conference play and will be offering $1 hot dogs, soft drinks and popcorns all game long.  Ticket deals are also in full effect, with High School Night-prices of just $2 for general admission.
