RANCHO SANTE FE, Calif. – The University of Idaho men's golf team struggled during the final round of the PRO Compression Invitational Tuesday and wound up 12^th.
 
Enrique Marin was low for the Vandals with a 54-hole 231 for a tie for 41^st. Ryan Porch was at 234 and a tie for 48^th with Ethan Atherstone at 241 (tie 57^th), Chris Carew at 248 (63^rd) and Hayden Ritter at 249 (64^th) in the first tournament of the spring. Ritter did have one eagle during the tournament.
 
UC Santa Barbara won the tournament at The Farms Golf Club with an 852.
 
The Vandals return to competition Feb. 27-28 at the Southwestern Invitational.
