USTFCCCA Release
NEW ORLEANS, La. – The members of Idaho cross country had a tremendous seasons athletically and are now being recognized for their work in the classroom, as both the men's and women's teams earned USTFCCCA Team Academic Awards.
For the women, it is the second consecutive season being recognized by the USTFCCCA. To be recognized, teams must post cumulative GPAs of 3.0 or better.
The women posted a team GPA of 3.62 while the men recorded a team GPA of 3.24. Both teams enjoyed successful seasons competitively as well, finishing fourth at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships in Moscow.
Big Sky foe Northern Arizona received the Men's Scholar Team of the Year award after winning the national championship. In all, 431 teams earned distinction from the USTFCCCA.
