University of Idaho sophomore Sophie Hausmann was honored by the Big Sky Conference as the Women's Golfer of the Week after her record-setting performance at The Gold Rush. Hausmann fired a course record 65 during the final round to win the title with a 12-under 204 - a record for The Gold Rush. Her 65 also tied an Idaho 18-hole record as she claimed medalist honors for the second time in her Vandal career. Her first tournament victory was the 2016 Big Sky Championship.
