MOSCOW, Idaho – The 2017 spring season is just weeks away for Idaho soccer, with six games scheduled for the month of April.  Alumni and fan events will take place at a number of contests, stay up-to-date with GoVandals.com and @VandalsSoccer on Twitter for any updates.
 
The Vandals get started in Boise for three games, beginning with Northwest Nazarene at 12 p.m. on April 1.  Idaho will then take on the College of Idaho at 3 p.m., with both games taking place at Boise State.  Idaho closes out the weekend against in-state foe Boise State at 10:30 a.m. on April 2.  Last season, the Vandals edged the Broncos, 1-0, in Boise.
 
Fans are encouraged to stick around after the Saturday games to meet and greet with the Vandals.  Stay tuned for more information on where and when the postgame events will be taking place.
 
A trip to take on Western Washington at Gonzaga on April 22 closes out the road portion of the schedule.  Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
 
The Vandals return home to take on North Idaho at 1 p.m. on April 23 before closing out the spring season with the Alumni Game at 12 p.m. on April 29.
 
Head coach Derek Pittman is still working to book another contest in mid-April in Coeur d'Alene, stay close with GoVandals.com for any updates on date or opponent.
 
The Vandals enjoyed a tremendous 2016 season, winning their second consecutive Big Sky Regular Season Championship.  Idaho has been incredible over the past two years, going undefeated at home and posting a 16-1-3 record in conference games overall.  Idaho returns a number of top performers from a season ago and adds two transfers to the mix in the spring.
