Enrique Marin continued his steady play at the Bob Sitton Invitational and is tied for 13
th with a three-over 145 after two rounds. After opening with a 68, he had a 77 Wednesday for his two-day total. The tournament concludes Thursday.

David Nuhn was proud of the Vandals ability to make improvement each round.

"Conditions today were a little more difficult so I felt we improved collectively," he said. "We got off to a good start. We just need to maintain that throughout the entire round."

Ryan Porch and freshman
Brock Anderson had the low rounds for the Vandals Wednesday with 75s. Nuhn said Anderson's was especially impressive given that his second 18 was 13 strokes better than his first.

"It was a real positive to see him hit a lot of good shots," Nuhn said.

Arkansas State is leading the tournament with a two-over 570. The Vandals are tied for 21
st with Northern Iowa – both with 619s.
