Palm honored by league

Idaho freshman Danika Palm earned Big Sky Golf weekly honors, after a strong performance at the SDSU March Mayhem match-play event.

The event, hosted by San Diego State, pitted Idaho against some of the West Coast's elite programs.

In her first tournament in the lineup, Palm took every match to the 18th hole. She won her final match against Iowa 1UP after being down three with four holes to play.

Palm is the fourth different Idaho golfer to earn weekly honors this season. Teammates Sophie Hausmann, Amy Hasenoehrl and Clara Moyano have all claimed weekly honors this season.
