MEN'S RESULTS | WOMEN'S RESULTS
MISSOULA, Mont. – Competition was fierce at the Al Manuel Invitational on Saturday, with Idaho track and field taking home five individual wins on the day.
The men were led by
Mack Baxter, who set a personal best to win the 400-meter hurdles with his Big Sky-leading time of 52.82 seconds. Baxter also joined up with
Zion Stuffle,
Ian Middleton and
Kaizer Gillispie to take third in the 4x400-meters.
Drew Thompson earned an individual win in the 110-meter hurdles at 15.05 seconds, while
Nathan Stark took first in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:27.79, the fifth best mark in the Big Sky this season. Kasin Pendergrass Anderson rounded out the winners on the men's side, earning first in the triple jump with a leap of 14.63 seconds, the fourth best time in the BSC all year.
Blake Gerling was Idaho's top performer in the 800-meters with a time of 1:53.58, the fifth fastest time in the conference this season, to finish third. Teammates
Dean Ellenwood and
Ian Middleton were close behind in fourth and fifth, and are now also currently ranked in the top-10 in the Big Sky.
Austin Beyer threw 58.08 meters in the javelin to finish second and move into third in the Big Sky, while Matthew Pete Bauman took second in the hammer throw at 52.29 meters.
Rechelle Meade equaled her indoor best in the high jump, clearing 1.75 meters to win the event. Teammate
Katelyn Peterson placed third at 1.65 meters.
Andrea Condie earned a second-place finish in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a personal-best performance of 11:03.33 to move into fourth in the Big Sky Conference.
Kaleala Bass took third in the 800-meters at 2:16.51, while
Krista Story placed third in the 1500-meters with a time of 4:38.05.
Meghan Palesch earned third in the 400-meter hurdles at 1:03.21.
The squad of Meade,
Nicole Carter,
Maddy Dustin and
Karina Moreland placed third in the 4x100-meters with a time of 48.22.
