CHANDLER, Ariz. - Enrique Marin had the low round for the University of Idaho men's golf team Tuesday and wound up in a tie for 45th after a 73 gave him a five-over 221.

"We had a lot of three putts today," coach David Nuhn said after the Vandals finished 18th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic. "We were just on the wrong side of the hole too many times.

"We're just going to keep at it and keep hoping with each experience we gain a little knowledge and a little wisdom and before too long these young guys will be seasoned pros out there. You have to go through the growing pains."

Also for the Vandals, Hayden Ritter and Ryan Porch tied for 51st (222), Ethan Atherstone was 103rd (246) and Brock Anderson was 106th (252).
