RESULTS
SPOKANE, Wash. – Idaho track and field saw a number of personal-bests in Spokane, winning several events at the Spokane Memorial.
On the women's side, a pair of Vandals posted PR's to move into the top-10 in the Big Sky in the 400-meter hurdles.
Meghan Palesch won the event at 1:02.03, while
Wednesday Walton finished close behind in second at 1:02.74.
Kaleala Bass won the 400-meters with a personal-best time of 57.71 seconds.
Karina Moreland also set a personal-best on the day, leaping 11.97 meters (39-03.25) in the triple jump to win the event and move into fifth in the Big Sky.
Erin Hagen took first in the 800-meters at 2:19.57.
Rechelle Meade won the high jump with a leap of 1.70 meters (05-07), while
Adara Winder won the shot put with a season-best throw of 13.70 meters.
Kolcie Bates threw a personal-best in the event at 13.63 meters (44-08.75) to take second and also won the discus at 43.61 meters (143-01).
For the men,
Kaizer Gillispie ran a personal-best to win the 200-meters, moving into 10
th in the conference at 21.60 seconds.
Kasin Pendergrass-Anderson won the long jump with a leap of 7.11 meters (23-04), while
Mack Baxter took first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.36 seconds.
Dean Ellenwood and
Ian Middleton took first and second, respectively, in the 400-meters. Ellenwood finished in 49.49 seconds, with Middleton right behind at 49.57 seconds.
