Porch shot a six-over 78 over his first 18. Sophomore
Chris Carew is tied for 28
th with a 10-over 82, sophomore
Enrique Marin and freshman J.T. Bloomer are tied for 29
th at 83, and junior
Hayden Ritter is tied for 34
th with an 84.
Collectively, the Vandals have a 326 and are in seventh.
Weber State, with a 303, has the first-day lead with Sacramento State one stroke back in second at 304. Weber State's Kyler Dearden and Northern Colorado's Joshua Matz are tied for the individual lead with even-par 72s.
The tournament continues with the second 18 holes Saturday and the final 18 on Sunday.
