MOSCOW, Idaho – The Vandal men are at back at home for the first time in 2018, hosting Sacramento State at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the Cowan Spectrum.  It's Buck Night in the Spectrum, with special concession deals all night and admittance just $5.

Chris King will bring you the action all season long on the Vandal Radio Network, starting approximately 30 minutes before tipoff every night.
 
LAST TIME OUT: Idaho fell at Northern Colorado, 81-77.  The Vandals got solid contributions from the starters, with Victor Sanders (17), Brayon Blake (17), Perrion Callandret (16) and Jordan Scott (11) all scoring in double-figures.
 
The Vandals trailed for most of the second half, managing to take one-possession leads on a handful of occasions, but the Bears responded every time.
 
NON-CONFERENCE SUCCESS: Idaho finished the non-conference portion of the season at 8-4.  In Don Verlin's now 10 seasons with Idaho, the eight early-season wins are tied for the most.  The Vandals had eight early-season wins during the 2015-16 season, Idaho's best season (by wins and losses) since the early 1990's.
 
BIG SKY PLAY: Idaho kicked off the Big Sky season with the defending champions, North Dakota.  After
 
BUCK NIGHT IS HERE: Idaho is back in Moscow, with Sacramento State coming to town for the Big Sky home opener.  The Vandals want a packed house on Thursday night to celebrate the start of conference play and will be offering $1 hot dogs, soft drinks and popcorns all game long.  Ticket deals are also in full effect, with High School Night-prices of just $2 for general admission, and $5 tickets for the general public.
