Jackson SBC Video Coordinator of the Year

The award is handed out by the Collegiate Sports Video Association

COLLEGE STATION, Texas—Tim Jackson, Idaho's Assistant Athletic Director of Video and Creative Services, was named the Sun Belt Conference Video Coordinator of the Year by the Collegiate Sports Video Association on Thursday.

Jackson was selected by a majority vote of his peers in the Sun Belt to receive the Conference Coordinator of the Year honor. He is now a finalist for the prestigious Bob Matey National Video Coordinator of the Year award, which will be announced at the annual CSVA banquet on May 17th, 2018 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Bob Matey Award is presented to the Video Coordinator who displays innovation, determination, perseverance, and technical skill as portrayed by the late Bob Matey, legendary Video Coordinator from Texas A&M.

At Idaho, Jackson is responsible for all video and technology needs of the entire athletic department. He is in charge of producing video content for all of athletics both internal (i.e. coaches film and motivational videos) and external videos (i.e. marketing, fundraising, streaming, features, social media and video boards).

Jackson came to Idaho after serving as the Director of Football Media at the University of Wyoming. He has also worked stints at New Mexico State, the Big 12 Conference and the University of Miami.

A native of Hyattsville, Maryland, Jackson received his bachelor's degree in Political Science from Howard University in Washington D.C. He earned his master's degree in Education/Sport Administration from the University of Miami.
