MOSCOW, Idaho—Idaho men's and women's tennis close out the regular season this week. Each team has two matches remaining before heading off to the Big Sky Championships in Arizona.Â
The Vandal men take on Eastern Washington on Wednesday. The match is now set for 2 p.m. at the Memorial Gym courts. If the weather does not cooperate the match will be shifted to Lewiston and take place indoors at the LCSC Courts.Â
Idaho (11-7, 9-1 BSC) has already clinched the regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the tournament. Senior
Mark Kovacs has a shot at history, going for his 96th career win. He tied Alan Shin for the most win by a Vanal last week, recording his 95th career win against Idaho State.Â
The team wraps up the regular season at Boise State on Saturday.Â
The Vandal women have a pair of home matches to close out the regular season. Idaho will host Weber State on Friday (12 p.m.) and Southern Utah on Saturday (12 p.m.). The Vandals have clinched the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament and will be looking for their fourth straight Big Sky title

Friday's match will be Senior Day for the Vandals. Idaho will honor
Lucia Badillos as the lone season on the roster. Badillos has nine wins this season, doing most of her work on the No. 3 court (7-5).
Junior
Marianna Petrei returned to the lineup last week for the Vandals with a pair of wins at the No. 1 position. She leads the Big Sky with a 78.6 win percentage on the No. 1 court (11-3). She remains undefeated in conference play, boasting 28-0 career record.Â
