MOSCOW, Idaho—The Idaho men's tennis team finishes the 2018 season ninth in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's final Mountain Region rankings. The back-to-back Big Sky champions defeated Montana for the second straight season, earning a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
The Vandals also finished with one of the top doubles teams in the region. Senior

Carlos Longhi Neto finished No. 4 in the region. The duo staked claim to the No. 1 doubles slot all season long. The pair went 14-6 and were ranked as high as No. 32 by the ITA. Their 14 wins were the most by any doubles pairing in the Big Sky. The team earned First Team All-Conference for the second consecutive season. Â
The Vandal men finished the season 15-8 and 10-1 in Big Sky action. Idaho was the No. 1 seed in the Big Sky Championship and scored a pair of 4-0 wins over Weber State and Montana on its way to a repeat title.
