Wildcats claw Vandals in Colorado

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The University of Idaho women's basketball team suffered a, 98-57 loss to Weber State in the consolation game of the Coors Rocky Mountain Invitational, Saturday.

With the loss Idaho drops to 1-3 on the season. Weber State improved to 4-1 on the year.

"I said after the Portland game, that we still need to learn to play hard as a team," coach Mike Divilbiss said. "We sustained it for two games, but we had some adversity last night with the loss and with Karly's injury, and we didn't bounce back."

"We just didn't play hard, we are still trying to learn to play hard and tonight we didn't," Divilbiss said.

Katie Madison continued her solid freshman campaign as she had a team-high tying 14 points on 5-8 shooting from the field and 4-8 from the free throw line. Jessica Summers and Hannah Wells also had 14 points apiece. Summers also led the team in rebounds as she pulled in seven boards, including six of them on the defensive end.
