MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho looks to keep the good times rolling, hosts Southern Utah at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Cowan Spectrum.

MATCHUP – Idaho (11-6, 3-1 BSC) is 6-8 all-time against Southern Utah (3-11, 1-3 BSC).  Last season, the Vandals fell to the Thunderbirds, 79-77, on the road in overtime.

LAST TIME OUT – The Vandals took down Northern Arizona, 83-76, on Thursday night.  Idaho got up big early and held off a late push by the Lumberjacks to earn its third Big Sky win of the season.  Victor Sanders had an incredible game, scoring 33 points and filling up the box score in every statistical category.

BIG SKY PLAY – Idaho is 3-1 so far in the Big Sky, with its first three games taking place on the road.  Only one other Big Sky team opened play with three straight on the road, with Sacramento State going 0-3.

FREE POINTS – Sanders has been fouled shooting a 3-pointer 10 times so far this season, including three times against NAU.  He has made the most of his opportunities, hitting all three free throws six times.  He also converted one four-point play.

FINISH STRONG – This season, the Vandals are 5-0 in games decided by five points or fewer, including going 2-0 in Big Sky play.  Last season, Idaho was just 4-8 in “close games”.
