The Vandals controlled much of the game on Friday against the Bears, but couldn't find the back of the net in the opening period. Things changed early in the second, with
Megan Goo tucking away a rebound to put Idaho up 1-0. The Vandals would double their lead just minutes later after a nice combination from
Josilyn Daggs to
Elexis Schlossarek sprung
Emma Eddy on goal.Â
Torell Stewart had another solid game, making four saves and earning her third shutout of the season.
Â
Idaho currently sits in a tie for second in the Big Sky standings with six points. EWU leads the table with seven points over three games.
