MOSCOW, Idaho—The Vandals women's basketball team returns to Memorial Gym Saturday for the first time since Nov. 5. Idaho last played at home in an 83-45 exhibition win over Multnomah.
About Idaho: Idaho, after a 3-5 start to the season , finally returns home on Saturday. The Vandals played eight games away from Moscow to open the season. The Vandals are coming off a close 74-71 win at Wyoming last week, breaking a five-game losing streak.
About the Opponent: The Wildcats are 5-5 on the season. CWU last played to an 82-71 win over Cal State Los Angeles. The Wildcats opened the season with a 97-66 loss at Washington.
The Match-Up: Saturday will be the 17th all-time meeting between Idaho and Central Washington. The Vandals hold a 9-7 series lead. Idaho has not lost to CWU in the last seven games.
Close Encounters: Idaho's three wins this season have been by margins of two, three and four points. Idaho was 7-4 last year in games decided by 10 points or less.
