MOSCOW, Idaho – The final non-conference home game is here, as Idaho (1-1) hosts local rival Gonzaga (1-1) at 5 p.m. on Friday afternoon. Get to the game early, as the first 100 fans will receive a free Vandals t-shirt.

PREVIEW – Both teams enter the game at 1-1, after splitting during the opening weekend. Idaho fell on the road at South Dakota to open the season, but responded well against Grand Canyon on Sunday. Gonzaga took down Nevada in its opener, at Hawaii, but was defeated by Oregon two days later.
MATCHUP – Idaho hasn't faced Gonzaga in two seasons. The last meeting went Gonzaga's way, as the Bulldogs came out on top, 5-0. Idaho is 4-10-1 all-time against Gonzaga.
HOME SWEET HOME – The Vandals finished 2015 with an unbeaten, 7-0-3 record at Guy Wicks Field, the first unbeaten home record in program history. Idaho won seven home contests, the second most in a single season in team history.
The Vandals opened up the season with a 3-1 win over Grand Canyon last weekend.

SISTER-SISTER – There are plenty of connections between the two teams on Friday, none greater than the Baggerly sisters. Olivia, a junior, plays in the midfield for the Vandals, while her sister Karley, a senior, plays forward for Gonzaga. The two both played in the previous meeting, with Karley scoring twice.
RANKINGS – Idaho was picked by the Big Sky coaches to repeat in 2016, after receiving five first place votes and garnering 92 of a possible 100 points. The Vandals are also ranked 91
st in the nation in RPI.
