MOSCOW, Idaho – The Vandals are finally coming home to Guy Wicks Field, as Idaho (4-4-2, 1-1-0) hosts Northern Colorado (6-3-1, 1-0-0) at 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

PREVIEW – Idaho split during its opening weekend of Big Sky play, trouncing Montana and falling to Eastern Washington in overtime.  The loss is the first by the Vandals in Big Sky play since the 2013 season, ending an 11-game unbeaten streak.
 
Northern Colorado has had a tremendous season and defeated Weber State in its only Big Sky game of the season.  The two teams have not faced a common opponent in 2016.
 
MATCHUP – Idaho is 4-1-1 all-time against Northern Colorado, including a 1-0-1 mark last season.  Idaho defeated UNCO in Greeley, 2-0, in the regular season.
 
The two teams met again in the Big Sky Championship game in Moscow.  Idaho got on the board first, but UNCO leveled the score in the second half.  After two scoreless overtime periods, the game went to penalty kicks where the Bears eventually advanced.
 
ROAD WARRIORS – The Vandals played seven straight games away from home, missing the majority of the month of September.  The stretch included the final five games of the non-conference schedule and the first two Big Sky games of the season.  The Vandals finished the stretch 3-3-1.
