@VandalsWBB Set for First Home Conference Test

MOSCOW, Idaho--The Idaho women's basketball team opens its home portion of the Big Sky season on Thursday. The Vandals will take on Weber State at 6 p.m. inside Cowan Spectrum. The game is the team's Youth Camp Night. Idaho basketball camp attendees will get free admittance with their Idaho basketball camp t-shirt.

About Idaho: The Vandals open the home conference season after a 1-2 start on the road. Last week Idaho went 1-1 with a win at Montana before falling at Montana State. Idaho will play nine of its final 15 games at home to close the season.

About the Opponent: Weber State enters the week with a 2-1 record in the Big Sky. The Wildcats have back-to-back wins over Montana and Idaho State, breaking a five game losing streak. 

The Match-Up: Thursday marks the 41st all-time meeting between Idaho and Weber State. The series is tied 20 games apiece. Last meeting ended with a thrilling Taylor Pierce overtime-buzzer beater in the quarterfinals of the Big Sky Tournament. 

Drought: Idaho opened the first quarter 0-for-9 from 3-point range at Montana State, getting out-scored 23-8 in the quarter. 

Make it Rain: The Vandals are averaging 9.9 3FGM per game, ranking second in the Big Sky and fifth in the NCAA. 

ACT II: Idaho has hit 138 total 3-pointers this season, 12th in the NCAA. Last season Idaho set a school record with 350 3's. 

Keep away: Idaho's 181 turnovers this season rank 10th fewest in the NCAA. It's 12.9 per game are least in the Big Sky and 13th nationally.

RPI: Idaho's 128 RPI ranks third in the Big Sky. Montana State (92) and Northern Colorado (112) sit ahead of the Vandals.
