TEMPE, Ariz.--The Vandals head down to the Arizona desert for its first matchup with the Pac-12's Arizona State on Monday. Game-time is set for 5 p.m. PT.

The Game: Idaho closes out its non-conference road-schedule on Monday against Arizona State. The Vandals are 2-2 this season in road contests. 

About The Vandals: Idaho opened the season with a road-win at four-time Mountain West champion Colorado State. The Vandals went 1-3 in its first homestand of the season, getting their lone win against Cal State Fullerton.  The trio of Mikayla Ferenz, Geri McCorkell and Taylor Pierce have led the team this season. The group has scored 74.4 percent of Idaho's points this season (476 combined).  

About the Sun Devils: ASU last played on Dec. 10, resulting in a 77-66 loss at Florida State. The Sun Devils are a perfect 4-0 at home this season. They have wins over UTSA, Sacramento State,  Buffalo and UC Riverside.

Last Time: Mikayla Ferenz scored 21 points and Isabelle Hadden put in a career-best 13 in Idaho's 68-60 loss to Seattle U. Idaho fought back to gain a lead in the fourth quarter, but could not hold on down the stretch. 

Game Connections: ASU head coach Charli Turner Thorne played four years at Stanford. Three of which she was coached by legendary Tara VanDerveer. VanDerveer began her Hall of Fame coaching career at Idaho in 1978. 

Scouting the Sun Devils
• ASU does a good job protecting the ball, ranked 13th in the NCAA with 12.2 turnovers per game
• The Sun Devils defense has been tough this season, allowing 55.9 ppg (30th NCAA/2nd Pac 12)
• Reilli Richardson ranks fourth in the NCAA with a 4.36 Assist/Turnover ratio
• Sabrina Haines leads the Pac 12 with an 86.7 FT%
