MOSCOW, Idaho--The Vandals put a bow on the non-conference season with their win over Eastern Oregon in Boise. The team now looks forward to the Big Sky season set to open on Thursday.Â

The Game: Idaho opens the Big Sky season at home for the first time since 2015. The Vandals are 3-0 all-time at home against the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota.Â
About The Vandals: Idaho wrapped the non-conference season with a 4-7 record. The Vandals opened the season win a road-win at four-time Mountain West champion Colorado State. Idaho also has wins over CSUN, Cal State Fullerton and Eastern Oregon. Â The trio of

Taylor Pierce have led the team this season. The group has scored 73.2 percent of Idaho's points this season (554 combined). Â
About the Fighting Hawks: North Dakota tied for the top spot in the conference last year, finishing 15-3 in conference play. UND enters conference play with a 7-4 record. The Fighting Hawks were defeated by South Dakota, Â 76-71, to close out non-conference play last week. This season marks UND's last in the Big Sky. They will join the Summit League next season.Â
Last Time Out: Taylor Pierce scored a career-high 29 points last week, helping Idaho to an 84-70 win over Eastern Oregon last Thursday. The Vandals 84 points marked a season-best.
Mikayla Ferenz scored 21 points, moving into fourth in school history with 209 career 3-pointers.Â
