MOSCOW, Idaho--Idaho returns to Memorial Gym on Saturday to take on the University of Wyoming. The Vandals and Cowgirls have met on a yearly basis dating back to 2009.

The Game: The Vandals renew their yearly series with the Wyoming Cowgirls on Saturday. Idaho and Wyoming have played each of the last eight seasons.

About the Vandals: Idaho opened the season with a road-win at four-time Mountain West champion Colorado State. Idaho returned home 2-3 after playing the first five games on the road. The Vandals have been led by its core of

Geraldine McCorkell and
Taylor Pierce. The group has scored 74.0 percent of Idaho's points this season (382 combined).
About the Cowgirls: Wyoming coming off a 61-53 win over Idaho State. Junior Bailee Cotton scored a season-high 17 points and grabbed a career-best 12 rebounds to lead Wyoming. The win snapped a three-game losing streak.
Last Time: Taylor Pierce went 9-of-10 from 3 against Cal State Fullerton, tying the Big Sky and Idaho individual record 3-point record. She matched her career-high with 27 points to help Idaho to its first home win of the season.
Commonalities: Saturday's game will be Wyoming's third in a row and fourth overall against a Big Sky opponent. The Cowgirls are 2-1 against Big Sky teams this season. They picked up wins over Montana and Idaho State, both in Laramie. They fell on the road to Montana State.
