POCATELLO, Idaho—The Vandal women's basketball team heads off on the road for the final time this season. Idaho opens on Thursday with in-state rival Idaho State.

About Idaho: The Vandals moved into a tie for fourth in the Big Sky with EWU and Idaho State, following Idaho's 78-51 win over Eastern last Saturday. Idaho ranks. The Vandals have four games left to earn the No. 4 seed and a first-round bye at the Big Sky Tournament in Reno, Nev.

About the Opponent: The Bengals shook up the top of the Big Sky standings last week with a 68-58 win at Northern Colorado. Freya Newton led ISU with 16 points. She was one of three Bengals to score in double figures. Idaho State shot 52.4 percent from the field in the win. 

The Match-Up: Idaho State picked up a 67-60 win earlier this season in Moscow. Saylair Grandon scored a game-high 24 points. Idaho got two 20-point performances from Geraldine McCorkell (23) and Mikayla Ferenz (22). Idaho got out-scored 20-8 in the fourth quarter. 

Clipped Wings: Idaho's 78-51 win (27 points) was the largest win against EWU since a 75-44 win on Dec. 10, 1999.

Stripe Game: Idaho set season-highs with 17 free throws against EWU, Idaho State and North Dakota. Idaho's 20 free throw attempts against Idaho State also set a season-high. 

Make it Rain: The Vandals are averaging 10.4 3FGM per game, ranking second in the NCAA. 

Taken: Idaho set a season-high with nine steals, last against Eastern Washington. The Vandals scored a season-high 23 points off turnovers with nine steals at Southern Utah. 

Charitable: Idaho is ranked seventh in the nation with a 78.4 free throw percentage, first in the Big Sky.

Keep away: Idaho's 337 turnovers this season rank 19th fewest in the NCAA. It's 13.5 per game are least in the Big Sky and 36th nationally. 

Ball Control: Idaho ranks second in the Big Sky with an assist/turnover ratio of 1.09.
