RESULTS
SEATTLE, Wash. – Idaho track and field made the quick trip out to the University of Washington this weekend, competing at the UW Invitational. Several Vandals posted some impressive marks, competing against some of the top athletes on the West Coast and in the nation.
Two Vandals finished in the top-10 in the long jump, led by the Big Sky leader
Kasin Pendergrass-Anderson. He finished third overall with a leap of 7.26 meters (23-10.00).
Britt Ipsen finished ninth, posting a season-best jump of 6.93 meters (22-9.00).
Ben Doucette qualified fourth for the final in the 60-meter hurdles. He would go on to take fifth at 8.18 seconds. Fellow 2017 NCAA participant
Kaizer Gillispie also took fifth in his top event, the 400-meters. He posted a time of 48.60 seconds, his fastest of the season and the second best in the conference this year.
Rechelle Meade finished ninth in the high jump at 1.65 meters (5-5.00).
Quinn Mitchell placed ninth in the weight throw at 17.54 meters (57-6.50).
Zachary Short took 1-th in the shot put with a throw of 17.18 meters (56-4.50).
