OGDEN, Utah – Idaho senior Enrique Marin was named the Big Sky Men's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday. Marin shot 4-under to finish tied for 24th at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational (Oct. 28-30). It is his first weekly honor of the season and fifth of his career.
 
Marin shot 4-under 68 in each the opening and closing rounds, sandwiched by a 4-over 76 on Monday. It was his first sub-par tournament of the fall.
 
The senior finished the fall season with a 72.0 scoring average and placed in the top 25 of all five tournaments.
 
The Vandals will return to action Feb. 11-12, at The Farms Invitational in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., to start the 2019 spring season.
