FASTBREAK

• The Vandals fell to Hawai'i on Wednesday in Honolulu, Hawai'i, 69-61
• Taylor Pierce led the Vandals with 20 points, collecting the bulk of her points in the third quarter. This was her fourth double-figure posting of the season, 15th in her career.
• Mikayla Ferenz and Isabelle Hadden notched double-figure on the game, 18 and 11 respectively.
• Pierce and Ferenz buried the only eight Vandals three of the game (8-for-33),
• Idaho was led by the Splash Sisters pulling down seven and six boards, respectively.
• The Vandals were perfect from the free-throw line. Graduate transfer, Juliet Jones, led the team sinking four from the stripe.

SCOUTING REPORT

• Going into Saturday's contest, the Cowgirls (5-2) are enjoying a two-game win streak after taking down Denver, 78-74. Wyoming is 4-0 on its home court, the Arena-Auditorium.
• Senior Marta Gomez leads the Cowgirls in points as she averages 16.6 points per game and shooting 51.1 percent from deep on the season.
• Bailee Cotton (11.0) and Teresa Vitulova (10.3) both are averaging double-figures in points, while Cotton also leads the team on the boards grabbing 8.1 per game.
• Wyoming's offense is aided by Clara Tapia as she is dishing out 3.7 assists per game.
• Defensively, Karla Erjavec has recorded 15 steals on the season.
• Wyoming leads the Vandals in all-time series, 7-6. The Vandals have defeated the Vandals three of the last four meeting. The Cowgirls won the most recent meeting as it visited the Vandals on Dec 9th of last season, 70-64.
