Box Score DAVIS, Calif.—The Vandal women's tennis team got back to action on Wednesday after being postponed at Sacramento State a day before. Idaho's luck did not improve with the weather, falling 4-2 at UC Davis.

The Vandals had early success out-battling the Aggies for the doubles point. Laura Spataro and Lucia Badillos picked up Idaho's first win, 6-1, at No. 2. UC Davis knotted up the point with a 6-1 win of its own at No. 3. Idaho's top pair of Marianna Petrei and Maria Tavares took care of business at No. 1, walking away with a 6-3 win.

UCD flipped the script in singles play. The Aggies won the first three matches to obtain a 3-1 lead. Shion Watabe was the lone Vandal to score a win in singles. She posted a 6-0, 4-6, 6-2 win over Kelsei Bryant at No. 5 to draw to within one.

The Aggies clinched the win with a three-set win at No. 2.

Idaho will take on Sacramento State on Thursday, making up for Tuesday's postponement.
