MOSCOW, Idaho – It's your first chance to catch the Idaho women's soccer team at home this spring, with the Vandals taking on the Spokane Sounders U15 boys team on Friday night at 7:30 in the Kibbie Dome. As always, admission to Idaho soccer events is free.
The Vandals are looking to build upon a number of quality results in 2017 and put together another championship-level season. After graduating just one student-athlete, the team features a number of familiar faces and mainstays from Idaho's Big Sky Championship teams in 2015 and 2016.
The Vandals will take next weekend off before hosting Boise State on Sunday, April 15. Last time Idaho took on Boise State the Vandal faithful came out in full force, with a program-record 4,171 fans on hand to witness the madness in the Dome. Idaho needed every second on that night, scoring the game-tying goal with under one second to play in regulation.
Idaho dropped its spring season-opener at Gonzaga last week, 2-1.
