MEN'S TEAM RESULTS | MEN'S INDIVIDUAL RESULTS | MEN'S TEAM DETAILED RESULTS
MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho cross country got out to a roaring start on Friday night, with the women's squad posting a perfect score in the season-opening Clash of the Inland Northwest. Idaho took second on the men's side, and finished as the top Big Sky school at the meet.
Andrea Condie won the women's race 4k with a time of 13:50.3, winning by nearly 12 seconds.
Kara Story took second at 14:02.1, while
Erin Hagen placed third in 14:14.8.
Krista Story earned fourth (14:15.0) and
Malaina Thacker took fifth (14:25.3) to give Idaho the perfect victory with 15 points.
Faith Dilmore (8
th – 14:32.4) and
Maizy Brewer (10
th – 14:38.7) also finished in the top-10 for the Idaho women.
The men took on a strong Gonzaga squad and took second with 60 points.
Skylar Ovnicek led the way for the Vandals in 9
th with a time of 17:27.9 over the 6k course. Freshman
Ben Shaw was right there in 10
th at 17:28.1.
Fabian Cardenas placed 15
th overall with a time of 17:40.3 and
Michael McCausland took 28
th at 18:05.4.
Caleb Seely rounded out the scorers in 32
nd, finishing the course in 18:14.1.
